Christmas Photos

Photos of you and your children are the number one go to gift for Grandparents at Christmas time. I would spend weeks thinking of the perfect gift for my Mum but I had never had the same reaction to any piece of jewellery, pair of slippers or best selling book as I had with an up to date photo of the kids. Now we have lost Mum, it's even more important to me to treasure each day and create these memories. Every year the change I see in my boys is astounding and I just love comparing this years photo with the year before to see how much they have grown. 

My boys are the HARDEST subjects I have ever had to photograph. They don't think I'm funny, they don't care what I say, they mess about and it's absolute carnage. I do what I can to get moments in between the craziness. Lots of bribery is required that's for sure. So even though I try to pose them, its usually very child led. But I actually believe I get the best out of them that way. They might not be perfectly positioned but the absolute joy on their faces is what I'm here for.

If you are wondering what to wear to this type of photoshoot, I would suggest knitted Christmas jumpers in different patterns and colours. Bright colour always photograph well. Avoid plain black or white if possible and text. Something timeless will always go a long way.
