Hello!

I am based in Woodthorpe, Nottingham and I offer maternity, newborn, baby and family portraits. I have an in home studio but I can also meet you in your favourite location for family portraits or in your home for lifestyle and newborn sessions. I have been a photographer for almost 25 years and I absolutely love it.

 

I also visit Nursery and Pre-School's for individual, group and leavers photo sessions. With added extras such as special occasion setups like Christmas, Mother's Day, Father's Day and various other events throughout the academic year. I love visiting the children and getting to know them all. They always have so much fun on photo day!

Kat Southby

Hello, I'm Kat. I am married to Duncan and we have two beautiful boys together, Casey and Robin. Before becoming a Mother, I worked as a school and nursery photographer for a company based in Derby. I now have my own business and service my local Gedling area. 

I love working with children and enjoy the challenge of capturing natural smiles and personalities. I can usually connect with a child no matter how long they might need to settle in. I'd rather take pictures of their true self than out of character portraits with grimaces and uncomfortable looks on their face. I've been an early childhood educator in a nursery, a home-based childcare educator and family photographer so I have a lot of experience working with children. 

I have been working as a Photoshop retoucher for over 15 years with photographers in New Zealand while raising my boys at home. Although now, this skill as become somewhat obsolete thanks to AI!

Now that both boys are in school, I can finally focus on the business I have always dreamed of having.
